Tektive Design is based in the heart of Silicon Valley, with a focus on designing custom single-family residences that spark joy in their inhabitants.  We strive to engage the aspirations of a client and the spirit of a place as catalysts for performative design that intensifies the connections of a home's residents and visitors with each other, their community, and the surrounding environment.

As a multifaceted professional with a background in both design and technology, Pearl Tsai Renaker has established herself as a creative architect who designs living spaces that reflect her clients' unique personalities and lifestyles.  She is also skilled at navigating through the maze of local zoning ordinances, design review boards, and building codes to get projects approved quickly. 

Before pursuing her passion for design, Pearl worked as a product manager at Google. Her diverse educational background, which includes a B.S. in computer science from Yale University, a MBA from Stanford, and a Master of Architecture degree from the California College of the Arts, gives her a unique perspective on the field of architecture. She is a California licensed architect (C34938).

Outside of the office, Pearl enjoys hiking, traveling, playing bridge and tennis, spending time with her daughters, and creating fiery metal sculptures with the Flaming Lotus Girls.
